53 forms of Divination

Postby MoonRaven » Wed Apr 29, 2009 5:18 am

Let's start this forum up with a list of the 51 forms of divination. If some are missing, by all means, post them. This is the list I use in my Divination course, having each student research the list Items extensively. The use and development of divination over the years is interesting to watch. Some being very formal and complex, while others are simpler and informal. Divination is also far from the exclusive realm of the Witch or Wiccan... Years back I had the pleasure to meet a Carmelite Monk in the Niagara region of Ontario that was an avid graphologist and had even published a book on the subject. As well, I've found a surprising number of Roman Catholics that have had a passion for tarot.

Personally, the tarot boggles my mind, although I love the beautiful art of a few decks. Tea leaf reading (Tasseomancy) however is something that personally resonates and is a pleasant way to spend an evening with friends over a few cups of tea.

Merry Meet! I am new to this forum however, I am not new to Wicca. i have been using psychometry since I was very young. Does anyone else here use this form of divination? Just would like some feedback on experiences.
